Tasmanian Blackwood Knights Armor Twist Style Pen with Antique Pewter Trim

If you like knights, soldiers, kings or are just a fan of medieval history, then this pen is for you!  

The meticulously handcrafted components feature period armor adornment including a medieval sword, a hand riveted replica knights helmet with a dome recess on the end, plus a fluted armor design on the pen tip.  

The authentic patina and natural darkening brings out the details of the finish and creates a unique feel with a charm all its own. 

Although called ‘blackwood,’ the name is somewhat of a misnomer, as its wood is not really black. Rather, it is a lustrous golden brown colour with a straight grain. Historically the Aboriginal people have used blackwood for making spear-throwers and shields and the bark was made into string.
