Abalone Atrax Fountain Pen with Etched Metal Trim

Abalone (Pāua shell) hold a rainbow of iridescent colours.  

Quality shells were sourced from New Zealand and meticulously hand placed onto the pen by myself and then cast in resin before being turned. The striking colours range from deep sapphire blue and turquoise green to purples, pinks and creams. Pāua shell is also known as sea opal and traditionally associated with the stars and recognised by the New Zealand Māori as treasure. 

The Atrax fountain pen has a simple, straight-forward design, which offers both style and function. The cap features high-quality threads giving it a smooth transition when removing or replacing the cap. 

The Atrax is non-postable, meaning the cap does not post on the body. 

The Atrax Fountain pen Includes a high quality, medium nib with a standard ink convertor and ink cartridge.
